André Castro reached a big number in the SC Braga game against Vizela: 100 games for Braga.
The midfielder, signed in 2020, is one of the references of the team that currently occupies the 3rd place in the League, and guarantees that he is very pleased to represent the Minho emblem.
“It has been a very fast adventure. Since I arrived, time has flown by. This happens when a person is happy and surrounded by people who work with the same goal, which is to win every week. I feel an enormous joy for representing this club and I am very happy at SC Braga”, he said, in statements reproduced on the club's official website.
SC Braga is the third club (first in Portugal) in which Castro manages to reach the milestone of 100 games. He had already done so in Turkey, with Kasimpasa and Goztepe.
“I arrived as a Guerreiro. After being here, seeing what this club is all about and playing my role, for me it is very special”, added Castro.
The 34-year-old midfielder highlighted winning the Portuguese Cup as "the most special moment" he has experienced so far in Braga, but said that "always wanting to win the next game" is what distinguishes the club: "We can't miss that ambition, because only then will we put SC Braga at the level we all want.”
