Zé Carlos signs for Gil Vicente until 2026

Zé Carlos will remain at Gil Vicente. After a season and a half on loan to the club from Barcelos, interspersed with a spell at Ibiza, in Spain, the right-back signs permanently for Gil Vicente.
Thus ends the connection to SC Braga, with Zé Carlos signed until 2026.
“I am grateful for the trust they have placed in me and the support I have received over these two years. I'm ready for many more fights and conquests with this jersey”, he said, in a message addressed to Gil Vicente fans.
In 2022/23, Zé Carlos participated in eight games and provided an assist, in Gil's historic victory at Estádio do Dragão. Before, the 24-year-old winger had participated in 32 games in the 2021/22 season for the Barcelos team.
