Diogo Fonseca made his Champions League debut

Dream week for Diogo Fonseca. After making his debut in the SC Braga main team, in the Portuguese Cup game, the young central defender was used in the game against Real Madrid.
It was the absolute debut in the Champions League, the biggest and most important club competition in the world.
At the end of the game, SC Braga coach Artur Jorge explained: "I know Diogo very well, he was my player at various levels of his Youth carreer. He's central, we had to adapt him to the right side, at this point we are without Victor Gómez. Taking into account that Joe was asking to be replaced due to fatigue, we ended up adapting Fonseca to a position that was trained during this period, the same happened in the Cup. He tried to give his best. I believe it is deserved for the work he has done, these are opportunities that are earned and not given."
