DHJ El Jadida has officially announced the appointment of Portuguese coach Ricardo Chéu as the new head coach of the first team.
At 45 years old, the Portuguese manager takes on a new challenge in his career, bringing to Moroccan football the experience he has gained through various projects in Portugal and abroad.
This marks a return to Africa for Chéu, following his previous spell with Petro de Luanda in Angola. Last season, he was in charge of Al Jabalain in the Saudi First Division League.
The arrival of the Portuguese coach signals the beginning of a new chapter for Difaâ Hassani d’El Jadidi, a club aiming to regain stability and once again compete for the top positions in the Botola, Morocco’s top-flight league. Last season, the team finished in sixth place.
