Goalkeeper Samu Silva will continue his career in Israel after being announced as a new signing for Maccabi Netanya.
The 27-year-old Portuguese shot-stopper leaves Marítimo to embark on his first experience abroad, having signed a two-year contract with the Israeli club.
The transfer comes after an outstanding season in Liga Portugal 2, where Samu was one of Marítimo’s standout performers and established himself as the league’s best goalkeeper.
Samu built his career in Portuguese football, representing clubs such as Mondinense, Chaves, Pedras Salgadas, Mafra, and Marítimo.
