Tiago Campos Joins Sporting

Tiago Campos is the latest addition to Sporting CP’s academy, arriving at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy from Rio Ave FC.
The 18-year-old midfielder is taking an important step in his career and did not hide his excitement about wearing the Lions' shirt: “It’s a feeling of great pride and a dream come true.”
Campos arrives with high expectations for his development and is already aiming high: “When I see academy players reaching the top level, I also believe that one day I can get there.”
Sporting is the second major Portuguese club in Campos’ career, having spent a significant part of his youth development at FC Porto. He could feature for Sporting’s Under-19, Under-23, or B team. Last season, he made 26 appearances for Rio Ave’s Under-19 side.
