Anthony Correia Extends Contract with Académico de Viseu

Académico de Viseu FC has secured the future of centre-back Anthony Correia by extending his contract until June 2027.
After an outstanding season with the Viseu side, the defender has committed his future to the club and will now compete in Portugal’s top flight.
Having joined Académico de Viseu in the summer of 2025 from FC Vizela, Anthony Correia quickly established himself as a key figure in the team. Last season, he made 33 appearances in Liga Portugal 2, scored three goals and played a crucial role in the Viriatos’ historic promotion to the Primeira Liga.
His performances also earned him the Liga Portugal 2 Defender of the Month award in February and March 2026, while helping Académico de Viseu finish the campaign with the second-best defensive record in the competition.
