The 2025/26 Girabola season was once again dominated by Petro de Luanda, and naturally, the club is the most represented in the Team of the Year.
Kinito, Petro's defender and captain, is one of those chosen, after a season in which he played 37 matches in total across all competitions, scoring two goals.
Also among those selected is Benny, in his debut year in Angolan football. The 29-year-old Portuguese midfielder was one of the team's key players with 11 goals and 4 assists in 35 games.
Finally, a highlight goes to the team's top scorer: Tiago Reis. The Brazilian scored 16 goals in the league alone and 23 throughout the season. These numbers make Tiago Reis the second-highest scorer in the Girabola.
