Paulo Oliveira moves to Saudi Arabia

Paulo Oliveira has a new challenge ahead of him. The Portuguese centre-back will join Saudi Arabian side Al-Fayha after ending his spell at SC Braga at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 34-year-old Portugal international leaves the Minho club after five seasons, during which he established himself as one of the dressing room’s key figures and even wore the captain’s armband. In total, he made 165 appearances for Braga and scored five goals, while also helping the club win the League Cup in 2023/24.
The move to Saudi football marks a new chapter in Paulo Oliveira’s career. Before joining Braga, the centre-back represented Vitória de Guimarães, Sporting and Eibar.
He is now set to embark on his first experience in Saudi Arabian football, joining a club that will compete in the country’s top flight.
