A great start to the season for Rodrigo Matos.
The 22-year-old was the standout performer in CD Mafra’s 5-0 win over Vitória de Sernache on the opening matchday of Liga 3’s Serie B.
Rodrigo Matos scored twice and was named MVP of the match, continuing his positive development after already making an excellent impression last season.
The forward made the difference in just five minutes, between the 26th and 31st minutes, first with a low shot across goal and then with a subtle touch, with both efforts producing the same result: a goal.
Mafra’s next fixture will see them travel to face Atlético CP.
