Ricardo Teixeira is back at Leixões SC, on loan from SL Benfica.
The 22-year-old central defender, who was chosen the best in his position in the II Liga in August 2022, precisely the last time he wore the Matosinhos team jersey, is back in the north and at the club where he played a large part of his youth career.
Ricardo Teixeira moved to SL Benfica when he was captain of Leixões, having played in the B team of the reds. Now he returns to his house to, in this words, "build another beautiful chapter" for the history of Leixões.
