Sérgio Vieira is the new coach of Estrela da Amadora

Estrela da Amadora chose Sérgio Vieira to lead the team in the II Liga. The coach signed a two-year contract with the club.
After the departure of Farense, who coached in the I Liga in 2020/21, this is the 39-year-old coach's return to active duty, with stints in several renowned Portuguese emblems, such as Famalicão or Moreirense, in addition to a foray into Brazilian football, where he coached Guarantinguetá, Atlético Paranaense, Ferroviária, América Mineiro and São Bernardo.
Estrela goes to the second consecutive season in the II Liga, after several years away from the professional Leagues. Sérgio Vieira was the man chosen to once again achieve the club's goals.
